Ok. I saw Eli Young Band play about a month ago here in Fayetteville AR. I wanted to
this song badly, and the only tabs I found on the internet were in standard tuning or used
Just by listening to the song on the album I knew this wasnt right. I was standing about
feet away from Mike Eli while he played this song, and I promise you this is as close
100% as it gets.
If you want to test it out, just tune the low E string down to C# and follow the bass
It took me forever to figure this tuning out, but I am sure this is correct.
Tuning (low to high):
C# - down from low e
G# - down from a
C# - down from d
G# - up from g
C# - up from b
C# - down from high e
Essentially all this tuning is is the "DADADD" that has become so popular in recent
but a half step down.
