If you are in standard tuning..
For D#m you're going to want to play it something close to lower than an open E chord, something like:
---
---
-3-
-4-
-6-
-6-

This will work even better if you play the other bar chords without the lowest root note and work off the 5ths. Maybe even exclude the high e strings with them if you're doing them in E/Em shapes. For example (the intro as):

--------------
--4--5--2-----
--4--6--3--3--
--6--7--4--4--
--6--7--4--6--
-----------6--

Thanks for the input! Personally, when I do the D#m, in the intro, after the F#, I keep the bar on the 2nd fret and play a Dm shape. In the verse I play an Am shape in 6th position, then move back and play the D diminished in 5th position. Cheers to ya!
