Different Intro, Different Chords/Chord-Fingerings, and Different lyrics.
If you follow the notes I've given throughout this transcription, everything
should work out just fine - I transcribed this version for the SOLO acoustic
player. Because of this please understand that this is not an exact note for
note copy of the original song. I left out the last arpeggiated chord in the
verses for continuity's-sake (it just seems to flow better live without it).
If you'd like to solo over it (key of A-MINOR) just use a loop station, or
get another player for the Verse/Bridge/Chorus chords.
Have fun - Transcribed by: Ian C.T. vom Saal

Dude, this is the BEST Version of ELP's From The Beginning on UG.
I don't know why this isn't a 5 Star rating around the board - probably haters vying
for top rating on their own crappy tabs, so they try to knock off the better ones.
Dude, your other tabs also rock, you should be teaching this stuff.
Keep up the great work.

This is a great tab, but I was wondering if you could tab all of the chords used? possibly?

I believe the lick he is using is

E|--0h2^3p0--0h2^3p0---|

h=hammer on
^=half tone bend
p=pull off

And you kinda hit the open D string when you hammer and bend and let the D ring out.

Other than that its perfect.
