         F C
This old town is filled with sin
        F7 Bb
It will swallow you in
          F C C7
If you've got some money to burn
        F C
Take it home right away
C7 F7 Bb
You've got three years to pay
F C7 F C7
But Satan is waiting his turn
    F C
The scientists say
        F7 Bb
It will all wash away
    F C C7
But we don't believe any more
            F C
Cause we've got our recruits
        F7 Bb
And our green mohair suits
   F C7 F F7
So please show your I.D. At the door
         Bb C7 F F7
This old earthquake's gonna leave me in the poor house
   Bb F C7
It seems like this whole town's insane
       Bb C7 F F7 Bb
On the thirty-first floor a gold plated door
      F C7 F C7
Won't keep out the Lord's burning rain

SOLO in F around melody then Bb D7

  G D7
A friend came around
         G7 C
Tried to clean up this town
     G D D7
His ideas made some people mad
       G D
But he trusted his crowd
      G7 C
So he spoke right out loud
G D7 G G7
And they lost the best friend they had
         C D7 G G7
This old earthquake's gonna leave me in the poor house
   C G D7
It seems like this whole town's insane
       C D G G7 C
On the thirty-first floor a gold plated door
      G D7 G G7
Won't keep out the Lord's burning rain
       C D G G7 C
On the thirty-first floor a gold plated door
      G D7 C G
Won't keep out the Lord's burning rain

Flawless, as always, and so appreciated, as always, Rick. Always putting the year of the recording, who played what on it, the writer, etc. on all your tabs...it's just very consistent and, well darn it, classy! Boy do the OLGA years seem far away. I had a binder full of printouts including a bunch by a tabber named Harlan something. Anyway. Thank you!
