Just throwing this out there, my first tab and took me a good 20 minutes to figure
this song out.

Standard tuning

Intro:

The notes are D, E, F#, G. But it sounds best in power/bar chords going up from
the 5th fret on the D.

E|--------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------|
G|--777777-999999-111111111111-121212121212---|
D|--777777-999999-111111111111-121212121212---| X 4
A|--555555-777777-9 9 9 9 9 9 -101010101010---|
E|--------------------------------------------|

The first synth riff (Pre-chorus):

E|--------------------------------------------------|
B|-5---8-7--10-8---12-13-12---5---8-7---10-8---3-1--|
G|--------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------|

The you hit distortion up for the chorus synth bit.

E|-33-7-55-10-77-10-12-12-10---33-7-55-10-77-3-1-1-1---|
B|-55-8-77-10-88-12-13-13-12---55-8-77-10-88-5-3-3-3---|
G|-----------------------------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------------------|

While this is going on, the guitar in the background goes E, D, G, C.

E|--------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------|
G|-111111--777777----------555555-------------------|
D|-222222--777777--555555--555555-------------------|
A|-222222--555555--555555--333333-------------------|
E|-000000----------333333---------------------------|

The verse guitar part is really hard to make out, but it's something along these
lines, not 100% though.

E|--------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------|
A|-1515-1414-1212-1414-1212-1010-1212---------------|
E|------------------------------------1212----------|

Then the pre-chorus clean synth.

Then the intro chords again.
Over the "All these Halcyon days..." but there's this tremelo barely audible high pitched bit.

E|-10-12-14-15--14-15-17-19-------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------|

Then the chorus riff.

At the end of the chorus with the "oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-on our own again" play this a couple of times...

E|--7-7--5-3-3-3------------------------------------|
B|--8-8--3-1-1-1------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------|

And end the song on that.

Lyrics:

Intro:

To the multi story car park,
With our friends,
Drinking from a bottle,
Of white lightning.
On top of 'Marks & Sparks',
Roof running,
Smoking,
Chronic,
Hectic!

Chorus:

And it seems that,
Nothing now will ever change.
And it seems that,
We're oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-on our own again.

And it seems that,
Nothing now will ever change.
And it seems that,
We're oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-on our own again.

And it seems that,
Nothing now will ever change.
And it seems that,
We're oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-on our own again.

We'll convene at mine 3PM to play Sega Megadrive Golden Axe and Sonic all day,
Never Played It? (I'll Teach Ya),
Can't Hack It? (I'll Beat Ya),
Whilst Pendell's making rhymes in the corner with a litre of finest Scrumpy Jack,
Whilst PDEX pumps out the latest big club track,
We'll take it to Justin's and hit his King Kong,
Then we'll gather round the piano for a little sing song.

Pre-chorus:

Oh if I could kidnap that feeling,
The one that melts all fears from your mind,
I'd make no demands, no ransom.

'Cause I'd never set it free.
'Cause I'd never set it free.

Oh if I could kidnap that feeling,
The one that melts all fears from your mind,
I'd make no demands, no ransom.

'Cause I'd never set it free.
'Cause I'd never set it free.
'Cause I'd never set it free.

To tune of intro:

All false Halcyon days,
And Halcyon nights
Before we began to realize,
That these aren't right.

Chorus:

And it seems that,
Nothing now will ever change.
And it seems that,
We're oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-on our own again.

And it seems that,
Nothing now will ever change.
And it seems that,
We're oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-on our own again.

And it seems that,
Nothing now will ever change.
And it seems that,
We're oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-on our own again.
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-on our own again.
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-on our own again.
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-on our own again.

TAH-DAH!

... Well I tried didn't I?
