Kicking Back On The Surface Of Your Cheek Tabs
By: dawrightstuff
Steal as you wish, claim as your own, do whatever you want, just make sure you keep
to the good music that you are =')

Tuning: Dropped C# (C#,G#,C#,F#,A#,D#)

Intro:
--------------------12-----------------------------
12----------------------------7--------------------
----------12-----------------------7---------------
---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------

These are natural harmonics
Repeat this twice
Then move into this

Guitar 1:

---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
10-10-10-10---9---7--------/14--------12-----------
|-x--x--x--x---x---x--------/-x---------x-----------| x2
-8--8--8--8---7---5--------/12--------10-----------
---------------------------------------------------

Guitar 2:

---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
10-10-10-10---9---7--------/14--------12-----------
-x--x--x--x---x---x--------/-x---------x-----------
-8--8--8--8---7---5--------/12--------10-----------
---------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
14-14-14-14---12--10--------/17--------16----------
-x--x--x--x----x---x--------/-x---------x----------
12-12-12-12---10---8--------/15--------14----------
---------------------------------------------------

Verse:

---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
7--------------------------------------------------
7—x8-7----3----5-----------------------------------
5----7-x8-3-x8-5-x8--------------------------------
0----7----3----5-----------------------------------

Repeat this as many times as needed

Chorus:
I'm going to explain the chorus in text (because I don't have the willpower to try and
out the freakin' weird strumming pattern ^_^)
It's the exact same chord progression as in the verse, and you should be able
to figure out the strumming pattern by ear if you listen to the song enough
xD Make sure you slide down the neck before changing to each chord, if you
need a visual representaion of this explanation, check out my video cover on
youtube (Yeah, because I'm not advertising my videos to try and get more
views at all ^_^ *cough* (it's a shcoking video anyway (wow, a bracket in a
bracket in a bracket, I think I've just won at text based media))).

Repeat the intro riff
Then repeat the verse riff
Then repeat the chorus riff

Bridge:

---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
0—-------------------------------------------------
0---Let-Ring---------------------------------------
0--------------------------------------------------

The clean bit:

Now, the way I play this is wrong (I think), but when I play this live with
my band this is what I play, because it beats worrying about changing the
effects on your guitar on time and stuff because you just leave your guitar
distorted, and because, as you probably have figured out from the actual
lack of tabbing in this tab, I'm rather lazy ^_^; but once again, check my
video, you'll be suprised how right this sounds.

---------------------------------------------------
--------7---7-7--x---------7---7-7-x---------------
7---7---7---7-7--x-5---5---5---5-5-x---------------
x—--x---x---x-x--x-x---x---x---x-x-x---------------
5---5---5---5-5--x-3---3---3---3-3-x---------------
---------------------------------------------------

--------2---2-2------------------------------------
--------3---3-3--x---------7---7-7-x---------------
4---4---4---4-4--x-5---5---5---5-5-x---------------
x—--x---x---x-x--x-x---x---x---x-x-x---------------
2---2---2---2-2--x-3---3---3---3-3-x---------------
---------------------------------------------------

Repeat as many times as needed

The freakin' awesome bit ='):

---------------------------------------------------

0-0-0-12\-0-12\-0-/10-10-10-10-10------------------

---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
0-0-0-12\-0-12\-0-/10-10-10-10-10------------------

. . . . .

---------------------------------------------------
10-12-10-------10-12-10----------------------------
11-12-11-11----11-12-11-11----11-12-11-------------
---------12-------------12----12-14-12-------------
---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------

This is how he plays it live, because in the studio they recorded two guitars
into the song, and as there is only one guitarist in ES, our beautiful Rory,
you have to change it up a bit to suit just the one guitar (god I'm a
terrible explainer).

Hit an almighty open dropped C# chord, then do an even more godly pickslide,
straight into this.

---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
-------------------------9-------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
0000----0--12-10-12-10lr---------------------------
.... . .. .. ..

----------------------0--0--0--0--0--0--0--0-------
----------------------5--5--5--5--5--5--5--5-------
----------------------7--7--7--7--7--7--7--7-------
---------------------------------------------------
-------------------5-------------------------------
3333----10-12-10-9-5-------------------------------
.... .. .. .. .

Repeat as the song fades out =')
And there you have it, an accurate, yet somehow completely shocking tab.
A rushed job for my fellow Youtubers GrungeLo and UhBleh.

Message me on my youtube account, dawrightstuff, if you have any questions or
complaints, no point in messaging my email because I never check it =') lol

Thanks for checking this out xD
