think the prechorus should start like

Also this riff plays at certain points during the pre chorus

listen for timing

@ross123, that riff is synth, not guitar. and where it says slide from 0 to 12 in the prechorus - he actually uses a pedal called digitech whammy which he uses to bend the note up an octave. but if you don't have the pedal, sliding up is probably the way to go
