Lies - Evanescence
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: Bristlehead

Tuning: Drop D
Alright, y'all seem to have tabs of tons of Evanescence songs, but you don't
have Lies! Is it too simple or something? :) Fear not, I have arived...lol.
Well it's a very simple song to play, so go right ahead.
[Vocal Intro] But around the second time through with the added harmony and such,
this starts to fade in, played pretty fast:
E|--------------------------
B|--------------------------
G|-----------2-------------- (played however many times
D|-----2--3-----3--2--0--2-- until the vocals start)
A|--0-----------------------
D|--------------------------
E|-----
B|-----
G|-----
D|--0-- (let that ring)
A|--0--
D|--0--
Bound at every limb by my shackles of fear
Sealed with lies through so many tears
Lost from within, pursuing the end
I fight for the chance to be lied to again
E|-----
B|-----
G|--00-
D|--00- (for "you will never be strong enough" and such)
A|--00-
D|--00-
(Chorus)
e-------------------------------
B-------------------------------
G-------------------------------
D------------------------------- (play that 3 times)
A--------8888--77--555--777--8--
D-----0-------------------------
e-------------------------------
B-------------------------------
G-------------------------------
D------------------------------- (play that 3 times)
A--------8888--77--555--333--1--
D-----0-------------------------
Note: I think there might be some other guitar part in the "you'll never be
strong enough" parts, but I'm not sure. Those parts are in order, but from
there you have to go and repeat some of them. Hope you guys like it though.
Peace ;)
