Song: The Further we Stretch
Artist: Ezio
Source: Out of the album "Black boots on latin feet"

Intro: Em / C / G

Verse 1:

Em C G Em C
Sometimes ... it feels like my time is coming, sometimes ... it feels just
G
like my day' s are through
Em C G
The phone it rings always when my bath is running
           Em C G
Out the door with all my things, and it' s all over now Baby Blue
            Em C G
Well you know I've got me an imaginary friend, and it' s his daydreams they

buy in the end
    Em C G
He won't let me break, he won't let me bend, he puts it all together and I

just press send
     Em C G
And he' s a shadow behind me in the light, and he takes me walking in the

park at night
              Em C G
He makes me do something wrong, do something right, and disappears before

the morning

Refrain:
                     Am Am/B C G
The further we stretch, the higher the sky, it gets harder, the harder we
D
try
                   Am Am/B C G
The faster we run, the longer the road, the stronger we get, the bigger the
D
load

SOLO (just like a Refrain)

Verse2(Chords like Verse 1):

When I fell in love with you, it wasn't the way that I dreamt it would

happen

Bells didn't ring, no Violins, or me on a horse with Nelson Eddy's hat on

You're not Jeanette McDonald, and our signs don't match, we dance with an

opposite sway

You said you needed to run, and have fun fun fun, till you're Daddy took

your T-Bird away

The further we stretch, the higher the sky, it gets harder, the harder we

try

Refrain:

The faster we run, the longer the road, the stronger we get, the bigger the

load

The further we stretch, the higher the sky, it gets harder, the harder we

try

The faster we run, the longer the road, the stronger we get, the bigger the

load

(1 x Refrain instrumental)

The further we stretch, the higher the sky, it gets harder, the harder we

try

The faster we run, the longer the road, the stronger we get, the bigger the

load

This is a rather easy song by Ezio. Just 5 Chords. If you ask me about the SOLO - it's not very difficult
well but right now I was just to lazy to put it down. Maybe next time.
Anyway if you have any other stuff from Ezio please send it to the OLGA or to me: ue1h@rz.uni-karlsruhe.de
Have fun with this one
