Okay now...THIS is the easiest version...probably. In this, you play it in D,
but it's really in C#, so just tune your guitar down a hlaf-step, it'll make it easy.

Here's the intro and what I'm going to call the "D riff." Just strum along with the recording

 D D

-3--3--3--3 there, the "D riff"

Intro: D riff(x4), G, Em, D riff

Verses:

          D riff
Well, I don't wanna be President
          D riff G
Super man, Or Clark Kent
 (G) Em D riff
I don't wanna walk 'round in their shoes

(same with the other half of the verse)

G Em D riff
I don't know about you

Chorus:

A G D
I'll be the rain falling on your fire escape
       G Em D riff
And I may not be the man you want me to
      G Em D riff
I can be myself, how 'bout you?

That's pretty much it...Sorry if it's confusing.

I like to add a XX0033 before the last D in the "D" riff
