Hey I saw the other tabs online for this song and they didn't seem to sound correct. I
back and listened to the song and pretty much figured it out. It is a fairly easy song
I hope you enjoy it. It is a beautiful song! If you have any questions or comments
contact me!
Tuning: Half Step Down (EbAbDbGbBbeb)
Intro/Verse
Em Cadd9
Eb--------------------------------------|
Bb--77778888----33333333----------------|
Gb--00000000----00000000----------------|
Db--00000000----00000000----------------|
Ab--77777777----33333333----------------|
Eb--00000000----------------------------|
Prechorus
D
Eb--0------------------------------------|
Bb--5------------------------------------|
Gb--0------------------------------------|
Db--4------------------------------------|
Ab--5------------------------------------|
Eb---------------------------------------|
Chorus
*I added a few ways to play this song:
First way:
G D Em Cadd9
Eb-------2---0---0--------------------|
Bb---3---3---3---3--------------------|
Gb---0---2---0---0--------------------|
Db---0---0---x---2--------------------|
Ab---x-------2---3--------------------|
Eb---3-------0------------------------|
Second way (I play it this way live):
Eb---0---0---0---0-------------|
Bb---3--10---8---8-------------|
Gb---0---0---0---0-------------|
Db---0---0---0---0-------------|
Ab---x---x---7---x-------------|
Eb---3--10---0---8-------------|
Bridge
Asus Cadd9 Em D
Eb--3---0---0---2--------------|
Bb--0---3---3---3--------------|
Gb--x---0---0---2--------------|
Db--2---2---2---0--------------|
Ab--0---3---2---x--------------|
Eb----------0------------------|
This part is the quiet Chorus that comes in after the bridge
When I play it live I like playing it like this:
G D Em Cadd9
Eb----0----0---0---0--------------------|
Bb----8---10---8---8--------------------|
Gb----0----0---0---0--------------------|
Db----0----0---0---0--------------------|
Ab---10----x---7---x--------------------|
Eb--(10)--10---0---8--------------------|
Outro
Eb--00000---0~---------------------|
Bb--77788---8~---------------------|
Gb--00000---0~---------------------|
Db--00000---0~---------------------|
Ab--77777---x~---------------------|
Eb--00000---8~---------------------|
"Im Home"
on the prechorus, that 4 on the Db string (the F) doesn't really fit there as well as if it was just an open Db note.
Eb-------2---0---0--------------------|
Bb---3---3---3---3--------------------|
Gb---0---2---0---0--------------------|
Db---0---0---x---2--------------------|
Ab---x-------2---3--------------------|
Eb---3-------0------------------------|
Eb---3---2---0---0--------------------|
Bb---3---3---0---1--------------------|
Gb---0---2---0---0--------------------|
Db---0---0---2---2--------------------|
Ab---2-------2---3--------------------|
Eb---3-------0------------------------|
and you made the chords far more complicated than they need to be.
all these chords:
G D Em Cadd9
the band plays simply like this:
G D Em C
what you have isn't wrong per se, it's just overly complicated. it still works, however, so good tab.
it isn't really all that complicated.. if you can do those chords than you can do the others. but i do understand what you mean.
I am not a fan at all of the band ..and I created this based on how I heard the song.. all by ear. It was how I heard it!
