Lyrics:

He was so kind, such a gentleman tied to the oceanside
Lighting a match on the suitcase's latch in the fading of night

Ruffle the fur of the collie 'neath the table
Ran out the door through the dark
Carved out his initials in the bark

Then the Earth shook, that was all that it took for the dream to break
All the loose ends would surround me again, in the shape of your face

What makes me love you despite the reservations?
What do I see in your eyes?
Besides my reflection hanging high?

Are you off somewhere reciting incantations?
"Sim Sala Bim!" on your tongue?
Carving off the hair of someone's young?

Remember when you had me cut your hair?
Call me 'Delilah' then, I wouldn't care

I tabbed this song from the same performance and you'll notice he plucks the 12th, 9th, 5th and 7th frets of the e string and the the 10th fret of the b string. It follows that the tuning must adjust to make the song work. Also, though I'm not 100% sure, the open chords he plays in order to strum and play melodies simultaneously almost positively requires a CGCCGA# or an open C7 if you will. I originally tabbed the song incorrectly also until someone pointed out my mistakes. I would've rated the tab higher since there's a lot that's accurate. But 3 stars indates a tab worth learning and if inaccuracies exist, the mistakes should be corrected before learning it.

I changed my rating to a three. In all honesty, most of the tab is correct and its uncertain exactly which version is closer to the actual way its played. Maybe look up my tab, try out the peculiar tuning and see how it fares in your opinion. Maybe we could help one another in discerning the authentic rendition.

This tab isn't right btw, I've already submitted an updated one. You're right about him picking the 12 fret on the intro but I'm sure he picks it on the B string so I think the tuning is CGCGA#C.
