Tabbing this song means a lot to me for a few reasons:

1. Fountains of Wayne opened for the Smashing Pumpkins at my first live rock concert
when I was 14. I have loved them both since then.
2. This is my first tab. (As the album was released this month, I'd say its quite an accomplishment.
3. I believe this is one of FOW's best songs to date.

Capo on 4th Fret.

C Em
They've got posters of girls washing cars,

Dm G
Unicorns and stars, GUNS AND ROSES album covers.

C Em
They've got most of the Barney DVDs

Dm G
Coffee mugs and tees that say "Virginia is for Lovers"

          C Dm G C
But its not, round here its just for truckers who forgot

    Dm Dm G C
To fill up on gasoline, back up near Aberdee----eeen.

C Am7 Dm G7
Its a nine-hour drive from me to you south on I-95 and I'll

C Am7 Dm G7
 Dm G7
Do it til the day that I die just to see you, just to see you,

        C
just to see you.

The second verse follows the same pattern (C, Em, Dm, G) until he mentions the line,

"From then on that's all I see"

the chords played during the guitar solo have not magically come to me the same way the
of the song has.

The final chorus is played in the same manner ending on "C"

send me your thoughts or suggestions in any means you like.
