This is the first song I heard by Framing Hanley and I absolutely
fell in love with it. It took me forever to finally tab it but I'm
going to do it now. The E chord in the song I play slightly different
than a normal E chord. I don't know what this chord is called, that's why
I'm just going to call it E (sounds fine as a regular E by the way). So
it anyone knows what it is called, please shout it out. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy it,
please rate and comment. Peace!
(This is how I play the E chord)
{ E }

VERSE 1:
C#m
Well I swear to God
We've been down this road before
The guilt's no good
And it only shames us more
A
And the truths that we all try to hide
Are so much clearer when it's not our lives
C#m G#m
And we don't face the blame
PRE CHORUS:
C#m
Won't you (get on your knees!)
Believe (have faith!)
G#m Asus2
In this lie with us all (with us all)
CHORUS:
E Asus2
Now my body's on the floor and I am calling
C#m
Well I'm calling out to you
G#m
Can you hear me now?
VERSE 2:
C#m
Well it's not a rebellion
G#m A
When you're selling out to an out of fashion salesman
G#m
Our promising lives are full of empty promises
C#m G#m
Temptations falling and calling you home again
A
Well I'm sorry if we've let you down
PRE CHORUS:
C#m
Won't you (get on your knees!)
Believe (have faith!)
G#m Asus2
In this lie with us all (with us all)
CHORUS:
E Asus2
Now my body's on the floor and I am calling
C#m
Well I'm calling out to you
Asus2
Can you hear me now? (can you hear me now!)
E Asus2
Now my body's on the floor and I am calling
C#m
Well I'm calling out to you
G#m
Can you feel me now?
BRIDGE:
A <-- little interlude part
C#m
What's wrong, what's wrong, what's wrong?
A B
What's wrong, what's wrong, what's wrong?
C#m
What's wrong, what's wrong, what's wrong?
G#m Asus2
What's wrong, what's wrong, what's wrong?
CHORUS:
C#m G#m
Now my body's on the floor and I am calling
C#m Asus2
Well I'm calling out to you (can you hear me now!)
E Asus2
Now my body's on the floor and I am calling
E Asus2
Now my body's on the floor and I am calling
C#m G#m
Now my body's on the floor and I am calling
Asus2
Well I'm calling out to you
[End on Asus2]
not bad but the G#m sounds a bit off
The E chord is called E9 and instead of G#m , i think it should be a B or something...
Actually, instead of G#m, it should be nothing. There is no G#m! And instead of B, the chord is F#m :)
