This is my first Tab/Chord chart, so please be nice ♡ ♥
This is nice country waltz in a slow, slanted 3/4 time, emphasis on beat 1.
Strumming once on the down beat, and double strumming on beats 2+ and 3+, thus
creating a "Down, Down-up, Down-up" pattern.
This however is just the Basic pattern and doesn't need to be strictly adhered to.
Here's the song as best as I can discern:

Intro:
G
(4 measures of just strumming sans lyrics)

Verse 1:
          G D/F# Em C G D/F# Em C
Well this town has closed down way too early and there's nothing to do,
       G D/F# Em C G D/F# Em C
so I'm drivin' around in circles and I'm thinkin' about you.
D Ddim7 Em C
Today I heard you got a new last name.
D Ddim7 Em C
Sure didn't know it was gonna hit me this way,
         G D/F# Am D G D/F# Em C
And the radio just keeps on playin' all these songs about rain.

             G D/F# Em C G D/F# Em C
Now there's all kinds of songs about babies and love that goes right,
         G D/F# Em C G D/F# Em C
But for some unknown reasons nobody wants to play them tonight.
D Ddim7 Em C
Hey I hope it's sunny wherever you are,
D Ddim7 Em C
but that's sure not the picture tonight in my car.
       G D/F# Am D
And it sure ain't easin my pain, all these songs like...

Chorus:

G Bm
Rainy Night in Georgia, and Kentucky Rain,
Cmaj7 G
Here Comes that Rainy Day Feelin Again,
G Bm
Blue Eyes Cryin' In The Early Mornin' Rain,
Cmaj7 Am
They go on and on and there's no two the same.
    Amin7 D G D/F# Em C Am (pause)
Oh it would be easy to blame all these songs about rain.

Verse 2:

       G D/F# Em C G D/F# Em C
Well I thought I was over you but I guess maybe I'm not,
             G D/F# Em C G D/F# Em C
'Cause when I let you go, looks like lonely is all that I got.
D Ddim7 Em C
Guess I'll never know what could have been.
D Ddim7 Em C
Sure ain't helpin' this mood that I'm in,
   G D/F# Am D
If they're gonna keep on playin' me songs like...

Chorus:

G Bm
Rainy Night in Georgia, and Kentucky Rain,
Cmaj7 G
Here Comes that Rainy Day Feelin Again,
G Bm
Blue Eyes Cryin' In The Early Mornin' Rain,
Cmaj7 Am
They go on and on there's no two the same.
Amin7 D G
Oh how I wish I could blame all these songs about rain.

Outro:

Repeat to fade G Bm Cmaj7 G G Cmaj7 G ...
Lyrics repeat Chorus.
