Artist: Genesis
Song: More fool me
Album: Selling England by the pound
Tabbed by: DJ

The song sounds to be played on a couple of 12 strings.
They're not in concert pitch, but, pretty much, mid-way
between pitchs, and I think in open E tuning too.
This is my version in standard tuning, not exactly the same,
but pretty close.

For the live 'Genesis Archive 1967-75' version they perform
it a semi-tone up from the original album version. So that's
capo at 4th, and tune sharp by approx. +25.

If you want to play along with the original record,
use a chromatic tuner, tune all strings up by approx. +30

CAPO: 3rd fret (Sounds in approx. key of Bb)

Chord names and fret positions are relative to the capo:

[Verse 1]
 G Dsus2/F# Bm
Here am I, who while away the mornings, since you've gone,
Am Em D7sus4 D7
Too long have I lay alone, not knowing which way to turn!

[Verse 2]
      G Dsus2/F# Bm
And there you are, quite sure you were right, ummm,
Am Em D7sus4 D7
Knowing full well, that I'd be the first one to go down!

[Verse 3]
    Fmaj7 G7
And you'd be the one who was laughing,
    G7sus4 C/G
Ex - cept when things weren't going your way,
And then the lady would say...
              Bm Em7 Am7 C/D D7
...That she'd had e - nough ...wandering around on her own!

[Verse 4]
     G Dsus2/F#
The day you left,
Well, I think you knew you'd not be back, ummm,
Am Em
Well, at least it would seem that way,
            B7sus4 B7
Because you never said good - bye,
      Em7 C#m7b5
But, when it comes 'round to you and me,
    Cmaj7 G
I'm sure it will work out al - right!

[Verse 5]
    Fmaj7 G7
And you'd be the one who was laughing,
    G7sus4 C/G
And giving me something I don't need,
And, you know, I'd always hold you,
     Bm Em7 B7sus4 B7
And keep you warm ...oh, more fool me!

[Verse 6]
         Em7 C#m7b5 Cmaj7
Ah, but when it comes 'round to you and me, I ask myself,
      Em7 C#m7b5
Do I really believe in your love?
         Cmaj7 G
Yes, I'm sure it will work out al - right!
