George Ezra - Benjamin Twine

Great song by a wonderful artist!
Listen to the song and follow these chords. Nice and easy song

D (break!)

                           G
Let me tell you about my best friend
                                C
Well he's got hair down to his knees
   D G
He gets along fine doing just how he please

                        G
And I believe that we first met
                    C
Around three years ago
        D G
Well it feels like a lifetime funny how fast it goes
(D break)

                        G
And I remember how this one time
                        C
Well I stole his sister's car
           D G
And he didn't even mind no he jumped in for the ride

                          G
We'd got miles away from anywhere
                        C
When the panic soon kicked in
         D G
We'd got it back safe and sound no one asked us where we'd been

Am D G
Ohh Oh Oh
Am D G
Ohh Oh Oh

                        G
Let me tell you why his sister
                        C
Why she didn't second guess
      D G
She was going out of line, putting on her favorite dress

                                G
And oh by God she knows she's worth it
                      C
Any boy would tell you so
        D G
Well a girl like that is worth her own weight in gold

Am D G
Ohh Oh Oh
Am D G
Ohh Oh Oh

                          G
Now I made a promise to myself once
                            C
That I would wake up by her side
D G
My best friend said that that would be the day I died

Am D G
Ohh Oh Oh
Ohh Oh Oh
Ohh Oh Oh
Ohh Oh Oh
Ohh Oh Oh
Ohh Oh Oh
Ohh Oh Oh
Ohh Oh Oh

The D, D7, G sequence in the "refrain" should be Am, D, G. George Ezra plays in key of G (or sometimes F) using chords A, D, E and Bm with his guitar tuned down. The equivalent chords in key of G are G, C, D and Am.
