This is my interpretation.

You can use this is the general stroke rhythm... with personalized
variations, of course. x's are strokes and .'s are either rests or
lighter/muted strokes, natural variation... capital X is the start
of a eh, measure.. I guess. Note that the rhythm changes slightly
