Sup, y'all, this is Jacob. I figured this out by listening to the journey version and
it to this song. I also pay really good attention when they play this in the show. I
like this song, so i hope the tab is perfect. Oh, and P.S, the Glee version of
Don't Stop Believing is in G.

Tuning: Regular

It starts out with the simple back and forth. This is a little lower than what they
but if you play the rest of the song right, no one will notice. Pick it a few times at your
pace, and then start to pull off.

Intro:

e|----------------------------------------------------------7-------3-3-------|
B|---8-7----------8-7-----------8p7---------8p7-------------------------------|
G|--------9-7------------9-7----------9p7----------9p7------------------------|
D|----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|------------------------------------------------------------------2-2-------|
E|------------------------------------------------------------------3-3-------|

In the glee version of the song, you play 3 different power chords multiple times, C
G major, and D major. At the end of the verse when they sing
you keep strumming D. It goes like this:

Verse:

e|-------3----------2---3-----------2----3----------2---3--------------22222----|
B|--1---------------3---0-----------3----0----------3---0--------------33333----|
G|------------------2---0-----------2----0----------2---0--------- ---22222--|
D|--2-------------------0----------------0--------------0---------{x2}----------|
A|--3----2--------------2----------------2--------------2-----------------------|
E|-------3----3333------3---3333---------3----3333------3---3333----------------|

This part comes right after the verse, where the guitar/bass comes in. Again, this may
a little high, but it's how they play the song. You keep playing this throughout the
part of the verse.

Interlude:

e|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------0-------------0----------------| x7
D|---------------0-----0-2-4-2-------2-4-----------2-4------------------|
A|-----------0-2---------------------------3----------------------------|
E|--3------3---------------------------------------------3--------------|

{Verse}

Next is the solo. I don't think it's very hard because of the speed, but you should
practice it a lot. On the notes that have multiple beats, add a little bit of vibrato, it
better.

Solo:

e|--8--7---5-8---7----7-8-7-5------------------8--7--5-8--7-5----9---14---15--|
B|-----------------------------8-7---8-5----------------------8---------------|
G|----------------------------------------7-5---------------------------------|
D|----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------------------------------------------------|

{Interlude}

The ending is very easy (You know, when the whole chorus sings do-on't stop!). You just
an A minor power chord and a G major twice like this:

Ending:

e|---------22-----------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---1-----00-----------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---2-----00-----------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---2-----00-----------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------22-----------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------33-----------------------------------------------------------------|

Yea, I think that's how you play the song. Questions, comments, or suggestions, just e-mail me @
jshballerboy@yahoo.com. Thanks, hope you had fun learning this thang!!!

Btw, if you can read this, you don't need glasses.
