Song: Moya
Artist: Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Album: Slow Riot for New Zero Kanada EP
Tabber: Kyle Johnston, edited by RealSavageLike
Tuning: E A D G

Notes: I tabbed (mostly) the bass that's playing the higher notes... there's a
second bass playing lower stuff (I tabbed some of it). Also, some of the tab may
be a little off just because it's so hard to pinpoint the bass in all that other
stuff that they've got playing... sorry 'bout that. But this does sound pretty
much right when you play it, so it should at least be a starting point for you.

Key:
~ = Hold note 1 beat
/ = Slide up

Intro (optional, I play it anyway. Repeat until 4:34)
G |------------------------------|
D |------------------------------|
A |1~~~~~~-----------------------|
E |------------------------------|

Bass comes in at 4:34 with...
G |------|-------|------|------|------|-------|
D |---8~~|10~~6~~|8~~4~~|6~~3~~|4~~1~~|3-3/8~~|
A |8~~---|-------|------|------|------|-------|
E |------|-------|------|------|------|-------|

Then (4:58):
G |-------------------|-----------------|---------------|
D |8~8-10~10-11~11-8~8|10~10-6~6-8~8-4~4|3~3-1~1----1~1-|
A |-------------------|-----------------|--------4~4----|
E |-------------------|-----------------|---------------|

It repeats, at 5:20, but play eighths for the last measure:
G |--------------------------------|
D |3-3-3-3-1-1-1-1---------1-1-1-1-|
A |----------------4-4-4-4---------|
E |--------------------------------|

It alternates between those (2 of each) for the next couple minutes.
Occasionally, the bassist makes every note a triplet, so it's like:
G |-----------------------------|
D |8-8-8-10-10-10-11-11-11-8-8-8| etc.
A |-----------------------------|
E |-----------------------------|

There's also a second bass on the left channel playing it a little differently:
G |---------------|---------------|----------------------------------|
D |---------------|---------------|----------------------------------|
A |1~1-3~3-4~4-1~1|3~3------------|----------------------------------|
E |---------------|----4~4-6~6-2~2|0h4-0h4--0h4-0h6--0h6-0h8--0h8-0h4|

While the guitar is doing it's build-up (7:46-8:28), just play Fs (1 on E, 3 on
D). Try to follow the snares.

Then (8:29):
G |-------------------|
D |-------------------|
A |-------------------|
E |/6~6/9~9-2~2--4-2-4|

The song begins its descent at 9:01 with:
G |---------------|
D |8~8-6~6-4~4-3~1|
A |---------------|
E |---------------|

By the way, you can play the guitar solo (a couple octaves lower) with:
G |----------------------------------|
D |8-10-11-10-11-13-11-13-15-13-15-16|
A |----------------------------------|
E |----------------------------------|
But note that the bass never plays that in the recording (i.e. it's just for fun)...

| / slide up
| \ slide down
| h hammer-on
| p pull-off
| ~ vibrato
| + harmonic
| x Mute note
