I was suprised no one has tabbed this song out yet, so I decided to do it. I just
did the chords so listen to the song for all of the extra guitar parts. This is my
first tab so sorry if I made some mistakes or if stuff is confusing
but it should be pretty solid sounding anyway.

Also the *D just means its a quick one stroke on the D and then back to the Em quickly.
Listen to the song for details. You dont have to play it if im confusing
but I think it sounds nice at some spots.

Intro:
Em G C *D Em (play x4)

(pause)

Verse 1 part 1
Em C D Em C
Down in the holler there’s a thriving town a treasure trove that makes the
D Em
world go round
	              C D Em G C
when the city barrens bring their legal papers and guns oh darling don’t be
D Em
afraid to run

(no break between these two verse parts)

Verse 1 part
Em C D Em C D
when we came to settle here we came to stay maybe raise a family, earn
       Em
decent wage
                C D Em G C	D
now ever public servant reeks of suspi-cion, so darlin don’t be afraid to
Em
run

Chorus
G C D Em G C D Em
darlin don’t be afraid to run and don’t turn your back on the noon day sun
     G C D Em G C D
some day redemption will wash everyone but there’s no telling when that day
     Em
will come
    G C D
so darlin don’t be afraid......

                      (solo starts after x2)
Em G C *D Em (play Em G C *D x4 including the last Em of the chorus)
..to run

(long pause)

Verse 2
maybe we'll rendezvous out in no-wheres-ville or maybe we'll find each other running still
until we reach that auspicious liaison oh darlin don’t be afraid to run

Chorus2
darlin don’t be afraid to run and don’t turn your back on the noon day sun
the people will meet you with derision, you'll never be their model citizen
so darlin don’t be afraid.......to run

Play Em G C *D x9 (i think) with solo and end on Em
