CHORUS
G Dsus/F#
Don't pull your love out on me, baby
C G
If you do then I think that maybe
C G Dsus/F#
I'll just lay me down and cry for a hundred years
G Dsus/F#
Don't pull your love out on me, honey
C G
Take my heart, my soul, my money
C Dsus/F# G Dsus/F#
But don't leave me drownin' in my tears
Verse 1:
G Am
You say you're gonna leave
D G
Gonna take that big white bird
G Am
Gonna fly right out of here
D G
Without a single word
Am D
Don't you know you'll break my heart
G Dsus/F# Em7
When I watch you close that door
G A D
'Cause I know I won't see you anymore
CHORUS
Verse 2:
Haven't I been good to you? What about that brand new ring?
Doesn't that mean love to you? Doesn't that mean anything?
If I threw away my pride And I got down on my knees
Would you make me beg you, "pretty please?"
Bridge:
Am
There's so much I wanna do
G
I've got love enough for two
Am D
But I'll never use it, girl, if I don't have you
(Chorus Repeats 2 times)
There are soo many choards left out of this, and some of the chords that are here, are all Major chords.
This song is
much more complex than what is currently here.
I hear the chorus as:
G Bm7 C D C(possibly Am7) D Am7 D
G Bm7 C D Am7-C G
And the verse is:
F#m-A-Bm7 G A7 D
Em A F#m Bm7 . . .
Em A
And the most pointless bridge in history is:
Am Cmaj7 Fmaj7 D
Slight correction on the chorus. I think it's:
G D Cmaj7 Bm7 Am7 Bm7 Am7 D
G D Cmaj7 Bm7 Am7-C G
And then drop the low G to an F# to get the transition chord after the chorus.
I'm 100% positive I've got the verse and bridge right. The chorus is a bit tricky to pick out because there's so much going on, but I'm pretty close.
