The tab on here is pretty much on the mark, but I'm just gonna brush it up a little bit
and add some stuff. I'm basing this tab off of the first recorded version of the song
from the 1991 "Teenage Whore" single, it has been re-recorded several times and the
lyrics differ a bit from version to version, but the chord progression is the same. The
song is
composed of barre chords and a few power chords, but it's pretty easy and mostly
requires sliding technique. I believe that Courtney is occasionally strumming power chords
(Riffs B and D), while Eric is playing the barre chords (Riffs A and C) and really
focusing on the D and G strings. The song is also played with a wah-pedal I believe that give the
chords a siren-like texture to them. There is particularly heavy distortion in the last
few verses, but distortion is present throughout the song.
