Howie Day
Collide
capo 4
G9 G/F#
The dawn is breaking
Em7 C2
A light shining through
G9 G/F#
You're barely waking
Em7 C2
And I'm tangled up in you
Yeah
G9 G/F#
I'm open, you're closed
Em7 C2
Where I follow, you'll go
G9 G/F# Em7
I worry I won't see your face
C2
Light up again
G9 G/F#
Even the best fall down sometimes
Em7 C2
Even the wrong words seem to rhyme
G9 G/F#
Out of the doubt that fills my mind
Em7
I somehow find
C2 G9
You and I collide
*****same thru out the rest
*****bridge is same family but different order
I'm quiet you know
You make a frist impression
I've found I'm scared to know I'm always on your mind
Even the best fall down sometimes
Even the stars refuse to shine
Out of the back you fall in time
I somehow find
You and I collide
Even the best fall down sometimes
Even the wrong words seem to ryhme
Out of the doubt that fills your mind
You finally find
You and I collide
You finally find
You and I collide
You finally find
You and I collide
When I play Howie Day's "collide"... I start on a B chord on the 7th fret moving my index finger from the 7th to the 6th then to a Gm or G#m whichever is the chord without the middle finger down. The next chord is E. So believe in order it would be from Eadgbe:
799877
6998XX Bridge-------> 4664XX
4664XX 012200
012200 244322
