Jack likes to use bar chords in most of his songs and it definitely sounds
awesome if you use bar chords in this song.
D A G
If I had eyes in the back of my head, I would have told you that
Em
You looked good As I walked away
D A
And if you could've tried to trust the hand that fed
G Em
You would've never been hungry But you never really be
D A
The more of this or less of this or is there any difference
G Em A
or are we just holding onto the things we don't have anymore
D Em G D
Sometimes time doesn't heal No not at all
D Em G D
Just stand still While we fall
D Em G D D Em
In or out of love again I doubt I'm gonna win you back
G D
When you got eyes like that
A-Am-A-Am-A-Am-A
It won't let me in
D-A-G-Em
Always looking out
D A
Lot of people spend their time just floating
G Em
We were victims together but lonely
D A
You got hungry eyes that just can't look forward
G Em
Can't give them enough but we just can't start over
D
Building with bent nails we're
A G Em A
falling but holding, I don't wanna take up anymore of your time
Time time time
D Em G D
Sometimes time doesn't heal No not all
D Em G D
Just stand still While we fall
D Em G D D Em
In or out of love again I doubt I'm gonna win you back
G D
When you got eyes like that
A-Am-A-Am-A-Am-A
It won't let me in Always lookin out
D A G Em
ooooooh oooohhhhh oooh ooh ooooh ooh
Always lookin
(repeat chords til end)
oooooooh ooooohhhh oooh ooh oooh ooh
Always lookin out
oooooooh oooooohhhh oooh ooh ooh ooh
Always lookin out
oooohhhh ooooh oooooh oooh ooh ooooh ooh
Always lookin out
I'm pretty sure that Jack uses barre chords in this song. But this way works. It's just not the way that Jack plays it... His new album is pretty good...
its quite hard to understand some of the timing because some chords are all over the place to the right.
Good album and great song
the part where jack says "it wont let me in"....theA-Am-A-Am-A-Am-A part should be changed to A-A7-A-A7-A-A7-A. Basically you just lift your pinky on the A major barre chord. Make sure to add some funk to this part like Jack does. Other than that great tab. Just listen to the song to get the timing...its a simple 4 count for the verse and 2 count for the chorus. Good Luck!
