G Saturday morning and it's time to go
One day these could be the days but who could have known
D9 Loading in the back of a pickup truck
Riding with the boys and pushing the luck
G Singing songs loud on the way to the game

D9 Chinese homeruns over the backstop
Kakua on the ball and soda pop well...

Em A7
We used to laugh a lot
   C

     G D9 G D9
That everything good always would remain
G D9 G D9

D9 Karma, karma, karma chameleon
We're talking kinda funny from helium

G Monday morning and it's time to go
Wet trunks and schoolbooks and sand on my toes
D9 Do anything you can to dodge the bus-stop blues
Like driving a padiddle with a burnt-out fuse
G My best friend Kimi wants to go with you
So meet her by the sugar mill after school

He only uses D9 in the intro...for the rest he uses D7...also its an Am, not A7

and the C is messed up

The C isn's messed up. It's a barred C and it should probably be written as 8-10-10-9-8-8 to avoid confusion.
