Jacks Mannequin: Rescued Chords.

Great song. I have included the notes for bass, but if you are playing on guitar it's
best to play the chords and et the piano/bass guitar put the bass in.

Key: E Major

Intro: E E E E Emaj7
 Emaj7 Emaj7 (repeat once)
Bass for Intro: E E A A C#
B B

The verse chords are pretty much the same for the intro, as far as the bassline goes.
write it out anyway

Verse:

E E/A
Two to one
Emaj7/C# Emaj7/B
Static to the sound of you and
E E/A Emaj7/C# Emaj7/B
I, Undone for the last time
E E/A
And there this was
Emaj7/C# Emaj7/B
Hiding at the bottom of your
E E/A Emaj7/C# Emaj7/B
Swimming pool some September
E E/A
And don't you think I wish that I could stay

Chorus:

No Chord E/A E/B
Your lips give you away
E/A E E/A E/B
I can hear it, a jet engine
            E/A E
Through the center of the storm
        E/A E/B
And I'm thinking I'd
E Emaj7 E (Esus4 on the piano fill)
Prefer not to be rescued

Verse:

E E/A
Two to none
Emaj7/C# Emaj7/B
Roads that lead away from this
E E/A Emaj7/C# Emaj7/B
I'm following myself just this once
E E/A
And I got spun
   Emaj7/C# Emaj7/B
It appears you're spun as well
   E E/A Emaj7/C# Emaj7/B
It happens when you're paying attention
E Esus4
This could take all year, but

Chorus:

No Chord E/A E/B
When it's quiet, does she hear me?
E/A E/B
A jet is sent to the
E/A E
Center of the storm
        E/A E/B
And I'm thinking I'd
E Emaj7 E (Esus4 on the piano fill)
Prefer not to be rescued
E/A E E/A E E/A
And ohh-oh, I can feel her, she's dying
E E/A E
Just to keep me cool
E/A E E/A
I'm finally numb, so please
      E E (Esus4 on the piano fill)
Don't get me rescued... rescued...

Piano Solo is the intro chords, but played one octave higher on the piano.

Bridge:

E E/A Emaj7/C# Emaj7/B
And it's unclear
    A Bsus4
But this may be my last song
B5
Ohh-Oh

Chorus:

E/A E/B E/A E/B
I, I can tell
     E/A E E/A E/B
She's raising hell to give to me
        E/A E/B
But she got me warm
   E/A E/B E Esus4
So please don't get me rescued
  E/A E/B E/A E
And ohhh-oh, say you'll miss me
E/A E/B
One last time
E/B E E/B E/A
I'll be strong, but whatever you do
E/B E/A E Esus4
Please don't get me rescued...

End:

E
Cause I'm feeling like
Emaj7 E Emaj7
I might need to be near you
      E Emaj7
And I feel alright, so please
             E Esus4
Don't get me rescued...

End on B7sus4 chord.

And that's it! Have fun!
