- Lightly put your middle finger to mute the low E string while I play.

Strumming:

On the first three chords, you strum down, mute then strum down then go on to the next 
(d,m,d)

On the fourth chord you should strum down, mute, then strum down, then up, then down, 
up. (d,m,d,u,d,u)

This is basically played throughout the whole song. Good luck playing! :)
