Key =
~ - vibrato
h - hammer on
p - pull off
b - bend
su - slide up
() - ghost note
* - strike note once
[] - natural harmonics
/ - pull tremolo up to next note
\ - push tremolo down to next note
Minus – when you see this before a note it means notes below the open note of
this string (seen when using tremolo to lower note)

Although this tab is written totally different to the other internet guitar tabs of this
song, it is pretty much perfect. Although bare in mind you must have very good tremolo
skills and a good ear for tone for this song! There’s a lot of natural harmonics that are
then manipulated by the tremolo arm (you must have a tremolo/whammy bar/floating bridge
for this song otherwise you’re stuffed!)It also helps that the tremolo system is locked
(eg Floyd Rose with locking nut or locking machine heads etc otherwise you’ll go out of
tune every time you use it)
The vibrato on this song is done with your tremolo/whammy
The tune is free time, Jeff uses Delay, ambience and it helps if you have a volume pedal
(for the violin sounding parts) you can try just twiddling the volume knob on your guitar
for the same effect. I have labelled the parts that use this volume effect (listen to the
song to see how it works)
I have used slightly different symbols for this tab, so keep your eye on the key
