This tab is for Hallelujah, as i've found i've not really gotten on with the other ones
here. The song is obviously picked but if you find that too difficult it also works
well strummed but picking the root notes of the chord with your thumb. With the G and E7
the start of each verse do a 2-3 up to the G and a 2-0 on the way down to the E7 on the
E string.
G E7
I heard there was a secret chord
     G E7
That David played and it pleased the Lord
    C D G D
But you don't really care for music, do ya?
 G C D
Well it goes like this the fourth, the fifth
Em C D
The minor fall and the major lift
    B7 Em
The baffled king composing hallelujah

Chorus:
" "
     C Em C G
  G
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelu-u-u-u-jaaah
G E7
Well your faith was strong but you needed proof
    G E7
You saw her bathing on the roof
    C D G D
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya
G C D
She tied you to her kitchen chair
Em C D
She broke your throne and she cut your hair
B7 Em
And from your lips she drew the hallelujah

Chorus

The chord sequence is the same throughout the song, so you should get the idea. I'm not
of the chords used during the instrumental part between the 4th and 5th verse

Baby i've been here before
I've seen this room and i've walked this floor
I used to live alone before i knew ya
I've seen your flag on the marble arch
But love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah

Chorus

Well there was a time when you let me know
What's really going on below
But now you never show that to me do ya?
But remember when i moved in you
And the holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was hallelujah

Well, maybe there's a god above
But all i've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya
It's not a cry that you hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah

Chorus x 3

Hope its not too bad but it is my first attempt so bear with me!

well, the E7's are supposed to be Em's, right? anyways, since it's such a song that everyone starts with, it'd be nice if you added some suggestions for the chords... i'd've been nice if you had added the ascending figure in the bas-notes of the chords as well... 3 stars

Hey, nice work...
I still not sure about D thou... I think it could be more a D7 for all of them except the last one in the pattern C D G D.
Also I like the G is with an extra finger on 3 fret 5th chord.
Finally I agreee that it shouldnt be just a normal Em on the first two.. have you tried with an Em+5th and 6th chord on 3rd fret... sorry don't know the name of it.
It sounds good!
Thanks
