'Holes Inside'
Tabbed by: Chrishibbert91
Standard Tuning
Intro
C, Am x2
C Am
When all that you’ve tried, leaves nothing but holes inside,
C Am
It seems like you’re wired, to stay here held in time,
F G
Cos nothing seems to change, oh no.
F G
No nothing’s gonna change, at all.
F G
I can see it in your face, the hope has gone astray.
C G Am F G
But if you hold tight, shadows will be lost in the light.
C G Am F G
Oh cos sometimes, fate and your dreams can collide.
F G
So don’t walk away from me,
F G
Don’t walk away from me,
F G C Am C
Don’t walk away from me.
Your feet are stuck, no they cannot move,
Don’t tell me that they’re glued,
Yeh they’re far from.
At home, at ease but give sometime to breathe
Cos nothing seems to change, oh no.
No nothing’s gonna change, at all.
I can see it in your face, the hope has gone away.
But if you hold tight, shadows will be lost in the light.
Oh cos sometimes, fate and your dreams can collide.
So don’t walk away from me,
Don’t walk away from me,
Don’t walk away from me.
F G
Cos everthing will be ok,
F G
I know that it’s so easy to say,
F
But the pain inside will fade,
G
Please tell me that you’ll stay.
Cos if you hold tight, shadows will be lost in the light.
Oh cos sometimes, fate and your dreams can collide.
So don’t walk away from me,
Don’t walk away from me,
Don’t walk away from me
Enjoy!
There is an extra Am before it goes into the Bridgy bit after the second chorus.
For a bit of detail, On the C's the 2nd finger (on the D string) is opened and then hammered back on, Same on the Am; the 2nd and third fingers (D and G strings) It's quite tricky timing though but sounds lovely if you can do it right!
Yeah, the above. And the second verse is a bit different from the first verse where there's an F chord:
C Am
Your feet are stuck, no they cannot move,
F
Don’t tell me that they’re glued,
Yeh they’re far from.
C Am
At home, at ease but give sometime to breathe
Eh, post went all wrong. Oh well, you can figure out the timings :P
