There's a story in our town
G D G
Of the prettiest girl around
G C G
Golden hair and eyes of blue
G D G G D G
How those eyes could flash at you (How those eyes could flash at you)
C G

G C G D G

G C G C G D G
(Dream on, dream on teenage queen prettiest girl we've ever seen)

G C G

G D G
It never once went to her head

Other boys could offer more
G C G D G
But she loved the boy next door who worked at the candy store

G C G C G D G

This isn't a criticism..
it just sounds better
in the original key. (B E F#)KK.

thank for the 5! when i tabbed the song, i must have been listening to a different recording, because when i matched pitch on the tonic i was sure it was a Bb. the beauty of it is that you can just slide the capo up to the fourth if you disagree :)
