I play this song using a G following the C in the first verse. If you pick out the notes there is a B in there. So by strumming the E,A,D and the G,B,E of the Am you are able to seperate the tone of the song to arrive with the B. Or not!
I use an E after the C in the second line and a G after F (instead of another F) on the fourth line. It's probably not how the song goes, but it should be.
