(the / means you play the F (1) on the E-string and then you slide up to the A (5) on the E-string)
If you know the song you'll easy find out how it goes.
Sorry for the double-post but I just found the Sheet music for this song and the C in the verses is supposed to be a "F/C" which means that you don't bar the 1st fret entirely but you only bar the lower b-string and the lower e-string with your pointer finger.
