                                           Self-Infected by Katy Perry

Okey, first of all. This is my version of the song (made acoustic / easier)
and perhaps it dosen´t match at 100% of the original. However it´s a
great song and the versions of it i found on the internet was a bit too
bright for my voice to keep up with, so i made a tab myself. The only
thing that could be tricky is the pre-chorus, it can take some time to get
the rythm right there, however the song is otherwise pretty easy.
Feel free to mail me forcorrections etc at: ola_1376@hotmail.com.
Enjoy :D

Chords used:
Bm: 2 2 4 4 3 2 D: 0 0 0 2 3 2 Dsus4: 0 0 0 2 3 3

Em: 0 2 2 0 0 0 Em7: 0 2 2 0 3 3 Cadd9: 0 3 2 0 3 3

G: 3 2 0 0 0 3 C: 0 3 2 0 1 0

C+ is in this case a normal C chord but with the G note added on the thin
 E string. Just to spice things up a little bit. Like this: 0 3 2 0 1 3

For soloing or riff / fill-making i suggest the G-major scale.

Standard tuning ( E A D G B e) Capo on 2nd or 3rd fret, I got it on 3rd.

Verse:

G Em
Remember when I dove into the ground
     C G
And I got a bloody knee under my skin
                    Em
A scar from wiping out
    C C+
It brings back the memories

Pre-chours:

Em7 Cadd9
Every bone’s been broken
     D Dsus4
But my heart is still wide open

Chorus:

G D Em
I can’t stop, don’t care if I lose
       Bm C
Baby, you are the weapon I choose
                   D
These wounds are self-inflicted
    G D Em
And I’m going down in flames for you
       Bm C
Baby, you are the weapon I choose
                   D C
These wounds are self-inflicted
                 D G
One more thing I’m addicted to

(play verse)
With each scar there’s a map that tells a story
What a souvenir of young love’s like
Jumpin out an airplane right in a tidal wave of

(play pre-chorus)
An ocean
Of emotion
My heart rips me wide open

Chorus

Bridge:

    Em G
And I, cover up these scars

(we make up, then we break up*)
    Em G
And I, cant stop seeing stars
                                            D
(I’m so knocked out whenever you’re around*)

Chorus (play two times)

Outro:

Play the chorus over and over, and just go with the song like:

“Ooh i can´t stop, no i can´t stop”

End on G and fade out if possible
