Dm
Day n night
E Am
I toss and turn, I keep stressin' my mind, mind
C Dm
I look for peace, but see I don't attain
E Am Am
What I need for keeps this silly game we play, play

Dm
Now look at this
E Am
Madness the magnet keeps attracting me, me
C Dm
I try to run, but see I'm not that fast
E Am Am
I think I’m first but surely finish last, last

[chorus] repeat the same chord progression throughout
'Cause day n night,
the lonely stoner seems to free his mind at night
He’s all alone through the day n night
The lonely loner seems to free his mind at night, ahh ahh at night
Day n night
The lonely stoner seems to free his mind at night
He’s all alone, some things will never change
The lonely loner seems to free his mind at night, ah ah at night

Hold the phone
The lonely stoner, Mr. Solo Dolo
He's on the move, can’t seem to shake the shade
Within his dreams he sees the life he made, made
The pain is deep
A silent sleeper, you won't hear a peep, peep
The girl he wants don’t seem to want him too
It seems the feelings that she had are thru
Thru

'Cause day n night
the lonely stoner seems to free his mind at night
He's all alone through the day n night
The lonely loner seems to free his mind atnight, ahh ahh at night
Day n night
The lonely stoner seems to free his mind at night
He's all alone, some things will never change
The lonely loner seems to free his mind at night, ah ah at night

Slow mo
When the tempo slows up and creates that new, new
He seems alive, 'though he is feelin blue
The sun is shining man he’s super cool
Cool.
The lonely nights, they fade away he slips into his white Nikes.
He smokes a clip and then he’s on the way,

To free his mind in search of...
To free his mind in search of...
To free his mind in search of...

day n night,
the lonely stoner seems to free his mind at night
He’s all alone through the day n night
The lonely loner seems to free his mind at night, ahh ahh at night
Day n night
The lonely stoner seems to free his mind at night
He’s all alone, some things will never change
The lonely loner seems to free his mind at night, ah ah at night

u can just play the riff for the entire song but the words don't line up exactly each
i always find the riff somehow just always catches up, so yea... its great when u jam with
guitars, one doin the riff, n the other doin chords.

riff as outro altho i usually just finish with extra bar E into Am

i use two strum patterns for this.

verses - DU* D* ->* is hit the strings n mute chods
chorus - D(D)UudU ->(D) is optional i sometimes putt it in?
                     CAPS is heavy/soft hitting strings
