ok, this is a brilliant song, and i sincerley hope i'm doing it justice here. most of
time there's a hell of a lot of stuff going on, but i tried to pick out the guitar bits,
they're cool.

tuning: i tabbed it with the whole guitar tuned down a semitone (Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb), but
you so desired you could play it in normal tuning with a flattened top string (E A D G
Eb), just move everything but the top string down one fret.

intro/verse (i know it seems ridiculously high up at first, but it does work):

eb|-------------0-----------------------0----------|
Bb|---------------17----------------------17-------|
Gb|-------19---------19-----------19---------19----|
Db|----16----16---------16-----16----16---------16-|
Ab|-17----------------------16---------------------|
Eb|------------------------------------------------|

-------------0----------------------0--------|
---------------17---------------------17-----|
-------19---------19----------19---------19--|
----16----16---------16----16----16----------|
---------------------------------------------|
-15---------------------15-------------------|

basically you repeat that bit until: "but she's touching his CHEST now.." and on
you go to:

bridge:

---------0---------------0---------------0---------------0-------|
-----------5---------------5---------------5---------------5-----|
-----7-------7-------7-------7-------7-------7-------7-------7---|
---4---4-------4---4---4-------4---4---4-------4---4---4-------4-|
-2---------------2---------------0---------------0---------------|
-----------------------------------------------------------------|

---------0---------------0---------|
-----------5---------------5-------|
-----7-------7-------7-------7-----|
---4---4-------4---4---7-------4---|
-----------------------------------|
-3---------------3-----------------|

all of this looks a lot harder than it is, all of the shapes are the same except for a
root note. the first shape is a bit of a stretch, but it is possible with practice, also
is getting down the fretboard fast enough and right, but ditto.

anyway, repeat that until:

chorus: ok, the verse is the tricky bit, where a hell of a lot of stuff is going on.
the chorus has four repeats in it. the first two repeats i beleive the guitar is playing
of the main chords, ie:

chorus 1:

---------------------------------------|
---------------------------------------|
-7-7-7-7-12-12-12-12-14-14-14-14-9-7-6-|
---------------------------------------|
-5-5-5-5-10-10-10-10-12-12-12-12-7-5-4-|
---------------------------------------|

but for the third and fourth (from, "but it's just the PRICE i pay...") the guitar seems
change to higher arpeggio chords that go like this:

chorus 2:

-14-------14-------14----7-----7-----7---10-------|
----15-------15-------15---8-----8-----8----10----|
-------14-------14-----------7-----7-----------11-|
--------------------------------------------------|
--------------------------------------------------|
--------------------------------------------------|

-10-------10-------10----9------9------9-----|-------|
----10-------10-------10---10-----10-----10--|-------|
-------11-------11------------9------9-------|-9-7-6-|
---------------------------------------------|-------|
---------------------------------------------|-------|
---------------------------------------------|-------|

with the end bit at the end of the second repeat.

then it all goes very synthy and full o' stuff, but i'd stick with just playing the
1 section above through it, until you get back into the verse.that's pretty much all the
you need, up until the kind of solo bit after the second chorus, which i've done my best to show here:

solo:

----------------------------------------------------------------------|
-7-7-8-10-12-10-8-7-7-7-8-7-5-3-2-/-7-7-8-10-12-10-8-7-7-7-8-7-5-3-2--|
----------------------------------------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------------------------------------|

then it goes back into another crazy bit that i'd just stick with the chorus 1
until the very end, and the very satisfying:

-------|
-------|
-9-7-6-|
-------|
-7-5-4-|
-------|

so, the whole structure of the song as i've tabbed it here is:

intro/verse (x6)
bridge (x2)
chorus 1 (x2)
chorus 2 (x2)
chorus 1 (x2)
intro/verse (x4)
bridge (x2)
chorus 1 (x2)
chorus 2 (x2)
solo (x1)
chorus 2 (x4)

and that's it. hope you find it ok. and remember, this is tuned DOWN A SEMITONE, ok? i
count the number of times i've thought someone had no idea what they were on about
i missed the bit about the tuning. thank you and goodnight.
