Intro:
C#m

Verse 1:
C#m C#m C#m
Time it tells, living in my hometown.
               C#m
Wedding bells, they begin easy.
C#m C#m C#m
Live it down, Baby don't talk that much.
                 C#m
Baby knows, that Baby don't tease me.
E E
In the park, we could go walking.
A A
Down in the dark, we could go sailing.
C#m C#m
    On the sea.
C#m C#m

C#m C#m C#m
Always here, always on time, close call.
                C#m
Was it love, or was it just easy?
C#m C#m C#m
Money talks, when people need shoes and socks.
               C#m
Steady boys, I think that she needs me.
E E A
I was just sipping on something sweet.
                A
I don't need political process.

Prechorus 1:
C#m G#m
I got this feeling that they're gonna break down the door.
E F#m
I got this feeling that they're gonna come back for more.
C#m G#m
See, I was thinking that I lost my mind,
E F#m
but it's been getting to me all this time
    G# G#
and don't stop dragging me down.

Chorus 1:
E B
Silently, reflection
C#m A
turns my world to stone.
E B
Patiently, correction
C#m G#
leaves us all alone.
    A B
And sometimes I'm a-travelling,
       C#m B A
but tonight this engine's failing.
    B

    C#m A
And I still hear the children playing:

Verse 2:
C#m C#m C#m
“Kick the can, kick the can, skip and blackjack.”
                  C#m
“Steal a car, and Ring-Around-Rosie.”
C#m C#m
    “Rock 'n' Roll, Candyland, Bogeyman.”
C#m C#m
“Run away, and give me your sneakers.”
C#m C#m C#m
Acid rain, when Abel looked up at Cain.
          C#m
We began, weeping and wailing.
C#m C#m C#m
Hurry high from pestilence, pills and pride.
                 C#m
It's a shame, we could've gone sailing.
E E A
But heaven knows, heaven knows everything.
              A
Tranquillise.

Prechorus 2:

I got this feeling that they're gonna come back for more.
C#m G#m
See, I was thinking that I lost my mind,
E F#m
but it's been getting to me all this time
    G# G#
and don't stop dragging me down.

Patiently, correction
C#m G#
leaves us all alone.
    A B
And sometimes I'm a-travelling,

    B

    C#m A
And I still hear the children playing.
B F#m E
Dead beat dancers, come to us and stay.

Outro:
       B C#m
'Cos I don't care where you been
      B E
and I don't care what you seen.
          C#m A
We're the ones who still believe
          B E
and we're looking for a page
        B C#m
in that lifeless book of hope,
      B E
where dreams might help you cope.
          C#m A

Great job, as usual. I play the capo 4 version but while I think that the chords are correct, some need to be played in a special way in order to sound like the record.
For example I play the C as "four finger C" with the ring finger on the third fret of the low E string, resulting in a C/G and making it sound fuller.
Same for the G chord, the four finger G sounds better, but I prefer to play it as a barre chord, in my opinion it sounds closer to the record.
