This song is really easy and pretty fun to play. Im 100% sure this song is correct. Intro - 0:09 - I like playing this line throughout the song an octave lower starting at open E but the bassist plays this: ---9--9--9--9--9--9--9--13--13--13--13--13--13--13--13---------| ---------------------------------------------------------------| -7--7--7--7--7--7--7--11--11--11--11--11--11--11--11-----------| ---------------------------------------------------------------| slide to the A flat Verse 1 - 0:51 - same as intro ---9--9--9--9--9--9--9--13--13--13--13--13--13--13--13---------| ---------------------------------------------------------------| -7--7--7--7--7--7--7--11--11--11--11--11--11--11--11-----------| ---------------------------------------------------------------| Chorus - 2:04 - not 100% sure --------------------------------------------------------| ----------------------------------6-7--------------6-7--| --------------------------------------------------------| -55-4-5-4-0---55-4-5-4-0---55-4-5-------55-4-5-4-0------| Verse 2: 2:20 - same as Verse 1 except you add an A at the end like so: ---9--9--9--9--9--9--9--13--13--13--13--13--13--14--14---------| ---------------------------------------------------------------| -7--7--7--7--7--7--7--11--11--11--11--11--11--12--12-----------| ---------------------------------------------------------------| Chorus - 2:59 - same as first chorus but afterwords you play the same thing as verse 1 so: --------------------------------------------------------| ----------------------------------6-7--------------6-7--| --------------------------------------------------------| -55-4-5-4-0---55-4-5-4-0---55-4-5-------55-4-5-4-0------| ---9--9--9--9--9--9--9--13--13--13--13--13--13--13--13---------| ---------------------------------------------------------------| -7--7--7--7--7--7--7--11--11--11--11--11--11--11--11-----------| ---------------------------------------------------------------| Interlude - 3:30 - play this for about 2 and a half minutes ---9--9--9--9--9--9--9--13--13--13--13--13--13--14--14---------| ---------------------------------------------------------------| -7--7--7--7--7--7--7--11--11--11--11--11--11--12--12-----------| ---------------------------------------------------------------| Verse 3 - 5:58 - same as verse 1 ---9--9--9--9--9--9--9--13--13--13--13--13--13--13--13---------| ---------------------------------------------------------------| -7--7--7--7--7--7--7--11--11--11--11--11--11--11--11-----------| ---------------------------------------------------------------| Outro - 6:37 - same as verse 2 ---9--9--9--9--9--9--9--13--13--13--13--13--13--14--14---------| ---------------------------------------------------------------| -7--7--7--7--7--7--7--11--11--11--11--11--11--12--12-----------| ---------------------------------------------------------------| And that's it, nice and simple, mainly just roots and octaves. Please email me at with any corrections or Kings of leon requests!
not sure about this either...but i think the chorus mite be
G------------------|-------------------|
D------------------|-------------------|
A------------------|-------------------|
E--5--3--5--0------|--5--3--5--0--0----|
i tried that before but it doesnt make sense to play a G when the whole song he is playing a G sharp/A flat. I think its safe to say that you can play a G sharp/ A flat instead of a G
The author first labelled the tab as 100% wrong, and then later on, the phrase 'not 100% accurate' was used. The slides are not shown on the tab itself, so is not as accesable to people wanting to learn the song quicker. At least for me, being shown how many times a certain part is repeated, rather than tabbing the same thing out twice, is quicker to learn, and would lead others to become a bit more experimental, instead of sticking to the exact notes at the exact times, something that I think a lot of true music lovers would agree with, we dont want to replecate a song when we cover it in our own bands, we want to reproduce it in our own way.
