KT Tunstall – ‘Hold On’ Tabbed by Robbie Adamson

Intro: Am-Em x8

Verse1
Am-Em rpt
Say you, to me…… You’re a bird with an eye for anything shiny
                                   E
Searching the land for a hero of a man
Am-Em rpt
You say I need more than my fair share of attention
                     E
But I think you know that just isn't so
Am E C D
Oh underneath I felt the fire of a burning question
A E C E
Tearing me apart…… right from the very start
A E C D
And now I see……that it don’t take a trick off the light to excite me
A E
So strong .. so long……you’ll see

Chorus
Am Dm E Am
Hold On to what you been given lately ( been given lately )
Am Dm E Am
Hold on to what you know you’ve got
Am Dm E Am
Hold on to what you been given lately
Am Dm E Am
Hold on 'cause the world will turn if you’re ready or not

Am Bm C D, Am Bm E

Verse2
 A E C D

Quiet and lovely…… Becomin' part of me
A E C D
and now I see……from a handful of names and a thousand faces
A C E
One light Burning fiercely

Am Bm C D

I felt a change a coming Ooahh oh oh

As for me, there shouldn't be any A. Instead of it there shold be everywhere Am. Maybe I'm wrong, but it sounds much better with Am.

Great tab, though, thanks!

Sorry! Nice try, but unfortunately, this is incorrect in some parts. The official sheet music for the verse has Am, Em7, C, Asus4 for the first line:

Am Em7 C Asus4
(Say you to me you're a bird with an eye for anything shiny).

And A5 for the intro.

Following on, I'm assuming the rest of the tab is incorrect, or along the same lines as the chords above. Sorry!
