i think the capo should be on 1
As this is in Open E could you play it in Open D (as in Hope in the Air, for example), but with a fourth fret capo instead of third?
Posters are correct. If you're tuning it Open E (which you should avoid on an acoustic since it strains the neck) then put the capo on fret 1. Better yet, tune it open D, and capo at 3 (looking at that video, it's what she does).
