These are the chords to the song "Ice" by LIGHTS. Keep in mind that these
chords are for the ska version of ice, and not for the studio version.
You can see this song being played by Lights here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rv-3MNL1ZiI

A great version of an even better song.
This version is 99% right, if not perfect. You can figure out the strum for yourself,
its pretty basic, just listen to the song and watch the video.
Please post any corrections (if you find any) on my UG page - icebukket

Thanks in advance.

Capo on the 8

C Dm G
My mouth is frozen so I can't even speak
Dm Cadd9 G
What a disappointment, I had it perfectly
C Dm G
What I was going to bring up suddenly
Dm Cadd9 G
Stood like a stone as you stood quietly

Em Am
You're making it hard for me
Em G
All I can do is freeze

Am G
What I mean is, all I need is
Em F
Just a little emotion
Am G
'Cause all I see is you not feeling
Dm C
And you're giving me nothing
G Dm G
Nice, I tried to do you right
Dm G C
Why'd you have to go and turn to ice

C Dm G
Woah, ice
Dm Cadd9 G
Woah, ice

C Dm G
I don't think you're knowing how hard this is for me
Dm Cadd9 G
I'm not the type to say sorry constantly
C Dm G
So I swallowed my pride and I got on my knees
Dm Cadd9 G
But still you just stood there as you stared at me

Em Am
Your ego is getting old
Em G
How did you get so cold

Am G
What I mean is, all I need is
Em F
Just a little emotion
Am G
'Cause all I see is you not feeling
Dm C
And you're giving me nothing
G Dm G
Nice, I tried to do you right
Dm G C
Why'd you have to go and turn to ice

C Dm G
Woah, ice
Dm Cadd9 G
Woah, ice

Am
I'm looking at you looking at me, what can I do but say sorry
C
It's a little late but you know I just want you to be happy
Dm F G
What I got to say to make you let me get away with it this time
Am
I know you're upset and that you're happy just to sit and hate me
C
But I'll make a bet that you'll be better to forget about me
Dm F G
Even better yet I'll let a little light melt the ice, ice baby!

Am C
Ohh oh
Dm F G
Ohh oh

C Dm G
My mouth is frozen so I can't even speak
Dm Cadd9 G
I'm not the type to say sorry constantly

If you want to play a so-called ska version of the tune, why use a capo at all? Just play triads on the top 3 strings:

C Dm G Em Am F
e -8 ---10---7---7---8---8-
B -8---10---8---8--10---10-
G -9---10---7---9---9---10-

But speaking honestly, I don't see how the song sounds better this way, unless you're obsessed with ska/rock-steady/reggae. It's already a bit of a reach just playing it on the guitar.

No, this isn't MY ska version of this song.. it is CALLED the ska version, and she plays it like that on a youtube video, but thanks for the comment.

Ah, my fault for not checking the video. Good that you caught the G major chords in the bridge (she altered them from E major chords in the original recording). Still, she's playing C major chords throughout, not Cadd9 chords, although it doesn't make that much difference to the sound.
