Guitar plays for a little then: |-----------| |-----------| |-----------| 4X |----2--2---| Verse 1: |-------------------------------------|-----------------------------------| |-------------------------------------|-----------------------------------| repeat |-------------------------------------|-----------------------------------| as |--2----2-2--2-2-2------5-5-5--7-7-7--|--2----2-2--2-2-2----5-5-5---3-3-3-| necessary Chorus: |-------------------------------------| |---8-9-8-6---------------------------|repeat as necesary |-6----------9--9--7-7-7--9--6--------| also use this at the "You |-------------------------------------| Try to take the Best of me part" Verse 2: |-------------------------------|----------------------------------------|---------------------------------| |-------------------------------|----------------------------------------|---------------------------------| |-------------------------------|----------------------------------------|---------------------------------| |---X--X-X--X-X-X--5-5-5-7-7----|--2--2-2---2-2-2---5-5-5---3-3-3--------|--2--2-2---2-2-2---5-5-5--7-7-7--| |---------------------------------|--------|--------|------|------------------------------| |---------------------------------|--------|--------|------|------------------------------| |---------------------------------|--------|---2----|------|-2-/-14--14--14--14--14--14---| |--2--2-2--2-2-2---5-5-5---3-3-3--|----2---|--------|--2---|------------------------------| Then Chorus.. Then: |----------------------------------| |----------------------------------| |----------------------------------| |----2-2---2-2-2---2-2-2--2-2--5---| Thats prettty much the song...have fun
Linkin Park uses 5 string basses, if you don't have one, either get one or don't try to tab it.
Riplackish, don't just write it off cuz it's tabbed for 4-string. I've only got a 4 string, can't afford to have 2 basses so finding 5-string bass lines tabbed for 4-string basses is a bonus. It's a good tab, and it works.
Guess what? It doesnt matter! just tune your 4 string to drop D and all of those notes on the C# string can be played one fret lower(1 instead of 2) very simple! this song doesnt need a 5 string.
