Artist....Linkin Park Song......When They Come For Me Album.....A Thousand Suns Tuning....Drop D OKAY SOMEBODY PLEASE RATE THIS TAB. ITS GOT OVER 1500 VIEWS AND NO RATINGS. GOOD OR BAD, I DONT CARE, JUST RATE IT. Now I know there isn't a lot of guitar in this song, and what there is, is pretty simplistic so I'll tab it out. During the intro, when the tapping is all that's going, it sounds like a guitar with a phaser on or something. Goes a little something like this: Mike's Part: Intro Part 1: e\------------------------------------------------------------------/ B\------------------------------------------------------------------/ G\------------------------------------------------------------------/ x2 D\-3--3--3-------3-3-3-------3--2-----------------------------------/ A\-3--3--3-------3-3-3-------3--2-----------------------------------/ D\-3--3--3-------3-3-3-------3--2-----------------------------------/ D D D D U D D D Once the drums kick in, the guitar changes a little bit to suite the drums. Intro Part 2: e\------------------------------------------------------------------/ B\------------------------------------------------------------------/ G\------------------------------------------------------------------/ x1 D\-3--3--3-------------------3--2-----------------------------------/ A\-3--3--3-------------------3--2-----------------------------------/ D\-3--3--3-------------------3--2-----------------------------------/ D D D D D e\------------------------------------------------------------------/ B\------------------------------------------------------------------/ G\------------------------------------------------------------------/ x3 D\-3--3--3----------------3--3--2-----------------------------------/ A\-3--3--3----------------3--3--2-----------------------------------/ D\-3--3--3----------------3--3--2-----------------------------------/ D D D D D D Then after everything fades out for about 10 seconds, it comes in more powerful this time. Chorus/Verse: e\------------------------------------------------------------------/ B\------------------------------------------------------------------/ G\------------------------------------------------------------------/ x2 D\---3~-3~-2~-------------------------------------------------------/ A\---3~-3~-2~-------------------------------------------------------/ D\---3~-3~-2~-------------------------------------------------------/ I don't know if the guitar or the bass should play through the verse but if you want to play the guitar it's just the above repeated throughout it. The above is also played through the vocalizing part, which I call the chorus. Chester's Part: e\------------------------------------------------------------------/ B\------------------------------------------------------------------/ G\------------------------------------------------------------------/ D\--------4~---2-------------3~---1---------------------------------/ A\--2--2---------------1--1-----------------------------------------/ D\----------------5~-----------------4~-----------------------------/ ^^Repeat until 4:21, when all the instruments drop out. e\------------------------------------------------------------------/ B\------------------------------------------------------------------/ G\------------------------------------------------------------------/ D\---3~-3~-2~-------------------------------------------------------/ A\---3~-3~-2~-------------------------------------------------------/ D\---3~-3~-2~-------------------------------------------------------/ ^^Repeat until the end. And there you have it, another great Linkin Park song. ~ indicates that you let the note ring out.
I'm wondering what those harmonics are that show up all over the song - I think they're from the bass, but it would still be nice to have some way to imitate them.
gotta love the chorus... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
