(The) Little River Band - (The) Night Owl
I’ve heard this both played fast with electric guitars and slow in a wonderful
bluesy way – and both sound great! It can be found on ‘Greatest Hits’ and ‘Streams
of success’.
I searched everywhere for a tab for this but couldn’t find one anywhere…. So I
listened hard and set about creating my own. This is what I hear – but it’s my
first attempt and no doubt with mistakes, so please send me suggestions for
improvements if you know better!

Well done on the tab, just a comment on the lyrics...
One small error: listen closely to the record, but where you've got "find the howl of a night owl calling" it needs to be "find THE HEART of a night owl..."
This happens about half a dozen times in the song.
errr, can I give a correction to my correction (I've been listening again)
FIRST TIME in the chorus it's
Find "A" heart of "A" night-owl calling
SECOND time round
Find "THE" heart of "THE" night-owl falling
(which is exactly what you've got second time)
interesting first use is the indefinite article, second time the definite article. That's the sort of poetic skills a songwriter needs to have and the attention to detail they must put inot these compositions.
