[F#m* (single strum to set key)]
Wait 'til you're announced
We've not yet lost all our graces
The hounds will stay in chains
Look upon your greatness and she'll send the call out
Send the call out
Send the call out
Send the call out
...

F# D#m
Call all the ladies out, they're in their finery

A hundred jewels on throats
          C# F#
A hundred jewels between teeth
                                                            D#m
Now bring my boys in, their skin in craters like the moon
                           C#
The moon we love like a brother while he glows through the room

F#
Dancing around the lies we tell
                                 D#m
Dancing around big eyes as well, oh
                 C#* B
Even the comatose, they don't dance and tell

                 F# C#
We live in cities you'll never see on-screen
                                        D#m B
Not very pretty but we sure know how to run things
              F# C#
Living in ruins of a palace within my dreams
                      D#m B
And you know we're on each other's team

            F# C# C#*
I'm kind of over getting told to throw my hands up in the air

So there

F#
So all the cups got broke
                   D#m
Shards beneath our feet
                      C# F#
But it wasn't my fault
                                                 D#m
And everyone's competing for a love they won't receive
                        C#* B
'Cause what this palace wants is release

                 F# C#
We live in cities you'll never see on-screen
                                        D#m B
Not very pretty but we sure know how to run things
              F# C#
Living in ruins of a palace within my dreams
                      D#m B
And you know we're on each other's team

            F# C# C#
I'm kind of over getting told to throw my hands up in the air
           B
So there
            F# C# C#*
I'm kind of older than I was when I reveled without a care
           B
So there

                 F# C#
We live in cities you'll never see on-screen
                                        D#m B
Not very pretty but we sure know how to run things
              F# C#
Living in ruins of a palace within my dreams
                      D#m B F#
And you know we're on each other's team
                      C#
We're on each other's team
                      D#m B F#

Ah nigga, why did you have to put that F# major in the chorus instead of its parallel D#m minor? All other versions seem to have built in a bazillion tiny flaws and the beginning was pretty much right on this one. Okay, rhythmically it wasn't exact but nobody else ever gets that right.

The text is so much more accurate than on the other versions. I'd even go as far as to say it is flawless. Those damn chorus chords. So close. Oh man. Ah, that hurts me physically. I would have wanted to bookmark this so badly.

And it's not even that wrong, it's just one note from minor to major and it does sound oh so slightly off. Kudos to you, loads of kudos, for probably the best version of them all. ACK!

Never put a minor chord in a non-chord part. Instead of that analyse the intro melody and see it's kinda bluessy, with it's third ambiguity, so a dominant 7th would be more accurate for a better refference to sing the intro. Like in Happy by Pharrell.
