This is not an exact copy which I think would need at least a fretless but it
works when played along with the record. Simple to play and you will develop your
own variation. Any chance one or two of you could give this a rating?

Tuning:EADG

G|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-5-5-5-3---------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-----------3--33--5----------------------------------------------------------|

This is the basic riff repeated through the verse and intro

G|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-5-5-5--3--5-5-5-------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Variation at the end of the second and fourth verses

G|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------55-33-535-----------------------------------------------|
E|--5-0-55-5--3-0-33-3---------------------------------------------------------|
Chorus (When I see you come etc.)

G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-7-7--99-9-10-10-10---10-77--99--910-1010--77-99-1010-12-12\---------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Bridge (When I see you coming down the street…)

That’s it; you are basically just playing the root notes except for the A at the end of
basic riff. Listen to the record for the rhythm. I find myself slipping in extra notes
dropping some out for variation. The song is very forgiving.
