This sleeping child you're holding is the great "I Am"?
why are u using D2? it doesnt sound right, try something like a Dsus2 or just a D...and not just this chord but every chord other than the Em and the Am7
No this tab is perfect. What chord shape are you using for the D2? I'm using x54252 (EADGBe) and it sounds great. The only chord thats diputable is the C at the end of each "C-D-G-D/F#-C" progression -- it sounds more like an Em to me. But otherwise perfect tab. Listen to the Clay Aiken version and it's clearly right.
...wrong, the tab is almost perfect with two exceptions, the first line of the bridge the Em is held out f 8 counts rather than the walk-down from the G, and all the Am's should be played with a "C" bass, Am/C, trust me, I've been playin this song every yr for 22 yrs.
