Hi folks,
this certainly isn't a 100% correct but it's something to start from and sounds
ok so far. Hope you enjoy it!
Matt Costa - Mr. Pitiful
Intro: C/G G
Verse: C/G Fmaj Am G
C/G
Oh Mr. Pit--oh Mr. Pit--
Fmaj Am
Mr. Pitiful, who let you down?
G
Who let you down, who let you down?
C/G
You still don't believe, you don't believe
Fmaj Am
You don't believe, and your grievances show
G
When your soap box unfolds
C/G Am
But please, come down
F G C/G
From that cloud your sitting on
Am F G
I don't expect you to admit that you were wrong
Am Fmaj
Just wanna know how you've been
C/G G Am
And don't make me feel bad that we're still friends
Fmaj C/G G
Mulling it over in my bed
Am Fmaj C/G G
I hope that you see through your picket
Am Fmaj C/G G Am G
I hope that you see through your big yard and white picket fence
F#m F (3-2-1) Am
To make amends
F#m F (3-2-1) Am
And still be friends
F#m F (3-2-1) Am G
Still be my friend
So where did you go, where did you go?
Where did you go, while I was out?
While I was out, while I was out?
Well, I don't believe, I don't believe
I don't believe everything I see
And if you don't like the movie, then quit acting
But please, come down
From that cloud your sitting on
I don't expect you to admit that you were wrong
Just wanna know how you've been
And don't make me feel bad that we're still friends
Mulling it over in my bed
I hope that you see through your picket
I hope that you see through your big yard and white picket fence
To make amends
And still be friends
Still be friends
Still be my friend
Still be my friend
Still be my friend

love it...its a great song too
and i was the first person to give this a 5 star woot
may i suggest looking at the vans podcast to revise the "to make ammends part".. he is playing it on the guitar in this
version.. and he does some other things that make it sound closer to the piano version.. im not great at picking out
chords by watching myself (meaning the podcast).. great tab tho..
