Intro: C#m A :||3x E
C#m A C#m A
somewhere in between the beginning and the end
C#m A E
september took the tourists and settled in for good
C#m A
we could hear the trains again
C#m A
brooklyn girls in scarves
C#m A E
summer left and no one said a word
Eb E C#m B
and we'd open your window and stay in your bed
Eb E B
all day 'til the streetlights came on
A E A E B
what happened to bulletproof weeks in your arms
A E B
what happened to feeling cheap radio songs
A E C#m B
what happened to thinking he world was flat
A A
what happened to that
C#m A C#m A
so up on 59th street right before the rains
C#m A E
lovers catching taxis going downtown
C#m A
i'm talking to what's left of you
C#m A
i'm watching what i say
C#m A E
counting all the freckles on your perfect face
Eb E C#m B
you open your window, i sit on your bed
Eb E B
just waiting for right words to come
A E A E B
So what happened to bulletproof weeks in your arms
A E B
what happened to feeling cheap radio songs
A E C#m B
what happened to thinking he world was flat
A A
what happened to that
(G# - A - B)

A E A E B
So what happened to bulletproof weeks in your arms
A E B
what happened to feeling cheap radio songs
A E C#m B
what happened to thinking he world was flat
A A
what happened to that
C#m A :||3x E
Hope you enjoy it, Comments/Suggestions would be appreciated. - Sean
i love that you tabbed this song. i like playing the prechorus this way:
G#m A E
B
and we'd open your window and stay in your bed
G#m A B
all day 'til the streetlights came
on
(on both prechoruses)
i also think it sounds more like the CD tuned down half a step.
Thanks again!
np! yes i forgot to mention it is tuned down half a step (my guitars are always a half step down, as for some reason my
voice tends to sound better that way) thanks for commenting
